Invite to an exhibition and conference

On October 15-17, 2008 the Third Scientific and Industrial Forum “Technical Retooling of Machine-Building Enterprises in Russia. Special Laser Technologies”. Within the framework of the Forum a scientific workshop on issues of technical retooling of machine-building enterprises the Ural Laser Innovation and Technical Centre will be officially open, a specialized exhibition “Machine Tool Building 2008”; the Regional Investment program of upgrade and technical retooling of the machine-building and  defense and industry complex of the Sverdlovsk region for 2007-2001 will be discussed.  

The exhibition and the Forum will take place in the functioning workshop of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise UralTransMach, one of the major leading enterprises in the Sverdlovsk region. The specifics of the exhibition is that the technical potential of products by tool building enterprises participating in the exhibition will be demonstrated real time, as details are being processed.

In 2007 61 company participated in the exhibition, among them are Weber Comechanics Ural, Machines and Tools engineering company, KSM-Ural (company representing Kirov-Stankomash), United Tool-Building Company EXEN (management company of Bogorodsky machine-building plant), Alapayevsk tool-building plant, Record-Engineering, APT INTERNETIONAL (Belgium), Ivtechservice (Ivanovo), Industry-Service (Saint Petersburg) and others.

Main subjects and areas of the exhibition and the conference in 2008:

Metal-cutting equipment for machine-building, special laser technologies and equipment, machines – universal, special-purpose and precision machinery, machines for electric, physico-chemical, plasma treatment; press-forging and cast-molding equipment, tool management and fixtures of all kinds for machinery, modern technologies of upgrade and repairs of machine tooling equipment, diagnostic equipment, instrumentation equipment and devices, research and technology, software for machine tool building, systems of continuous automation of production, systems of automated design and computer-aided manufacturing, technologies of leasing machinery, issues of technical upgrade of enterprises.
