Office Forum 2008

On June 3-5, 2008 a conference and an exhibition "Office Forum 2008" will take place in the Ural Cultural Centre (3 Studentcheskaya Street) under the auspices of the Administration of the Municipal Establishment the City of Yekaterinburg.

The Office Forum 2008 project has been initiated by the Administration of Yekaterinburg in connection to the situation on the markets of commercial real estate, architectural services, office furniture, which has been changing in the recent years, and can be characterized by the following:

keener interest of investors and developers to the commercial real estate market;
new level of development of commercial real estate, urban development, replacing “adapted” office premises to specialized office premises – Business Centres;
enhanced characteristics of newly constructed buildings, employing up-to-date technical equipment, emerging of new construction culture, application of modern technologies in cooperating with architects;
emerging of highly developed office technologies, such as communications, computer technologies, internet technologies;
developing tendencies in the real estate construction – closer attention to shape and appearance of buildings, larger share of individual buildings.

For the Urals as well as for Russia as a whole the notion of “quality commercial real estate” is quite relevant. More and more offices of international companies open; high quality product is in higher demand on the market. Specialists and representatives of the markets of commercial real estate and architectural services pay significant attention to professional approach and looking for quality resources to establish standards and criteria.

Office Forum 2008 is one of such resources and an efficient tool to create a civilized market.
